Lidia & Samson

Lidia and Samson's wedding was one of the most visually rich and emotionally layered days I've ever had the privilege of photographing. Held at The Landmark Hotel in London — one of the city's most iconic grand ballroom venues — their celebration wove together an Ethiopian Orthodox ceremony with a luxurious London reception.

From the bride's morning preparations and the intricate bridal veil portraits, through to the Orthodox ceremony with traditional attire, the walking of the aisle beneath stained glass, and the full congregation gathered in celebration — every chapter of this day was distinct and deeply meaningful.

I photographed every element with the same intention: to document what was actually happening, not to impose a visual style onto it. The result is a gallery that honours the traditions, the venue, and the two people at the centre of it all.
